Remote System Rescue is a very useful practice when a remote system is behaving unexpectedly and you can't physically go to the system to insert a rescue CD.

LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning can easily deploy RAM-based rescue systems to enable an administrator to troubleshoot and remedy remote systems without altering the on-disk contents.

This tutorial presents how the LinMin Server supports the deployment of the following rescue systems:

"Live Ubuntu", consisting of RAM-resident Ubuntu 10.10 and Clonezilla Live (Release 6.1 and later)
"Debian Rescue", consisting of RAM-resident Debian Live and Clonezilla Live (Release 6.0 only)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Rescue
CentOS Rescue
SystemRescueCD
