Red Hat Network Registration
Consistent with Red Hat policy, your system must be properly registered with the Red Hat Network (RHN) if your LBMP host is running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
After you install RHEL on your system, register it with RHN (you must have an available "entitlement"). You can login to RHN to verify whether you have available entitlements.
# rhn_register
Upon entering this command (from any directory), you will be presented with a login page to the Red Hat Network. Follow the instructions to register your Red Hat Enterprise Linux system on which you will then install LBMP. If using RHEL 5.6, ensure that you use a RHN Channel that updates your RHEL 5.6 and does not upgrade your system to RHEL 6.x.
For example:

After you have registered your system, bring it current by executing a yum update:
# yum update
After you have updated your system with the yum command, reboot your system (whether you are prompted to do so or not). Then continue following the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to prepare your system prior to installing LBMP.
To verify that you have properly registered your system, enter the command:
# rhn_register
You will then be presented with a screen similar to the one below, to which you will click the "No, Cancel" button:
